So I lost out on two twenty dollar fares last night
I have this really cool jacket that I found out in the yard. It had been sitting there for a couple weeks. No one claimed it and its a really warm jacket. It has allied security written on the shoulders with a star for a patch.
People have really been tweaking out on it, thinking that I was a sheriff or something.
I pick up this girl from Murphy's and the first words out of her mouth were "I'm not afraid of you"
What the fuck? Honestly, why should she be scared of me? I'm just there to get her home safely
We get to the car and she gives me this story about how she doesnt have money on her and she wants me to take her to her house to get money and then to her car.
She looks pretty drunk. I figure if we are going to her house anyway that it might be safer for her to just stay there and get her car the next day.
Well, this set her off something fierce. She immediately says pull over, I want out of the car.
I let her out of the car and drive away confused
At the end of my shift, I am wishing another driver a merry christmas and he says "Well yeah, thanks to you."
So whats that supposed to mean?
Turns out that he gave a ride to two different people that had gotten out of my car because they were too scared to let me give them a ride home
They were so fucking paranoid that I was going to arrest them or something
Really, who the fuck thinks that a cop is going to go undercover as a cab driver just to arrest YOU specifically?
Like you are important enough for the cops to spend that much time and resources on catching a small time tweaker who wants to drive home drunk?
How illiterate do you have to be to think that 'Allied Security' means Cop?
Fucking idiots
